Practice day on Sat was a practice for all concerned - pilots and organisers alike. A short task - Mullaley - Castletop - Split Rock - with task distances from 138km to 282km for all classes. Sat was the last day of the good band of weather enjoyed at Narromine Cup last week, which resulted in some good times by Bruce Taylor (122kph), Tom Claffey (120kph), Dion Weston (111kph), Matt Gage (99kph) and Dave Shorter (94kph).
Comp Day 1 - Sunday - was cancelled. The area forecast and temp trace flights indicated a too small window of opportunity to set a meaningful task and subsequent local flying proved this to be the case.
