NSW State Gliding Comps Day 2 - first competition day

After looking at the temp trace and various forecasts, the first competition day, Monday, looked to be similar to Sunday but the morning improved.  Gridding commenced immediately after a delayed briefing and first launch was 12.30pm following reports of Cu on track from Nick Singer who was up as a sniffer.   The AAT was Mullaley, Narrabri, Split Rock for all classes with distances from 112km to 456km.  There were 3 outlandings;  the day and the task worked and it's amazing the difference that 5 tugs make.
